AP flour
2 1/4 Cups
1/4 Teaspoon
Black pepper
1/2 Teaspoon
Cayenne pepper
1/16 Teaspoon
Baking powder
2 Teaspoons
Butter, cold
12 Ounces
1/2 Cup
Cheese sticks (mozzarella)


  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. In a large bowl, sift together flour, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and baking powder.
  3. Mix in cold butter with the flour. The mixture should be crumbly.
  4. Add milk (I used soymilk) until the mixture looks more like a batter.
  5. Cut up and add in the mozzarella cheese. Mix to distribute the cheese evenly.
  6. Place onto parchment paper and bake for ~15 minutes, until the tops are golden-brown in color.
